Tonight you can enjoy your favorite food trucks as they give back to the local Abilene community.
Food Truckers for A Cause is a group of local food truck owners that wanted to make a difference here in Abilene. Each food truck owner involved either donates a portion of sales or tips to help a different charity each month.
This month the Alameda Neighborhood Association and Community Center is benefiting from the Food Truckers. The Alameda mission is to empower Alameda neighbors to form relationships together and throughout the community as well. After school programs, holiday toy drives, filling backpacks with school supplies are just a few ways The Alameda Neighborhood Association and Community Center helps those in need.
Join Hearts BBQ, Classic Sliders, Dad’s Ice cream and Atom’s Italian Ice as they serve up delicious dinner and desserts! (H7 Tex Mex is advertised but may still be fixing issues with their food truck. Can’t wait until you guys are back on the road!)
Enjoy live music featuring Allen Mooney, Jessica Schultz, and Omega Big Top Circus of Rock presented by Barefoot Studios. Face painting will be available courtesy of The Abilene Pin Up Dolls as well as fun games and a raffle. The Food Truckers will be raffling off a 60 minute massage, Cracker Barrel gift card, and two adult and four children’s tickets to the CALF Festival coming up next week.
Join them tonight June 5th and the first Tuesday of each month from 5:30-8:00pm at The Food Park in Downtown Abilene on the corner of South 1st and Sycamore Street.
See you there!
